| Don't Know what all the crying is about? Got my system over two years ago and still love it. Meter works fine. I had a problem once and they took care of it on the phone with no cost .My black Cadillac gets washed in the noon sun and looks perfect, In fact if you use a towel on it to dry the car you will probably streak it. | |

| I'll start by saying how much I like the de-ionized water system. Before I purchased this unit I couldn't wash my cars at home because we are on well water and it's very hard. With the de-ionized water system I can wash my cars without getting water spots, most of the time. Negatives are two fold. First, filters I have are supposed to last for about 300 gallons. I don't think I got more than 100 gallons. But like I said, I have very hard water. Second, the meter went from "000" to "019" and the water spots had already started to form. | |

| Here I was perusing the site and needed assistance and found a product reviewer with the same issue I had. I bought a DIW-20 unit that works great when I can measure the water conductivity which now is NEVER. The unit is NOT ledgible in direct strong sunlight and the lack of even a token water resistance has made it fail after only 2 months of operation. I have called once but since I travel have not been agressive in persuing a solution. Just plugging in another unit is not going to resolve the issue. Something has to make it more water proof. Okay Spotless, ball is in your court. By the way if it wasn't for this meter problem I would have rated the product a 5+ | |

| C.R. Spotless has a good line of products. But, the DIW-20 I have used for two months (05-07/08)has never had a working water meter. The meter always reads 000. The manual says, change out the deionizing filter media when this reads 020. Mine never did and now I have hard water spots all over my car!!! If you are the kind of car owner whom treasures your ride, be carfull of this system. The DIW-20 is not cheep at $400. For this price you would expect a spot-free washing system to last longer than two months!!! | |
